My son will be 5 in October and he still isn't night time trained. He pees pretty much nightly. Not even just a little.…

@newlyironman, yeah my son never has day accidents. I think he just can't wake himself up to go pee. I make him go to the bathroom right before bed and at least once throughout the night.

@boys.everywhere the crazy thing is my son has a really strong bladder during the day. I swear he pees at 7am, 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm. Like clockwork

My son is 6 and still wets the bed (his little brother has rarely wet the bed since being potty trained). Some kids are just harder sleepers or have weaker bladders and it takes them longer to stop wetting the bed. My son is getting better slowly, he used to wet the bed every single night but now he's down to about 3-4 nights a week.

I was a horrible potty trainer. My parents had to get up and bring me to the bathroom at least twice throughout the night, even if I “didn’t have to go” they made me try. Eventually I stopped wetting the bed and figured out I could get up and use it myself. 🤷‍♀️

Upgrade to depends. My niece isn’t night trained either but instead of using a pull up or anything my sil just does the laundry daily. I couldn’t deal with that.

I’m sorry. Maybe start cutting the liquids out a little earlier.

I’d start cutting him off liquids earlier and if he’s still doing it start taking him to the washroom in the middle of the night. This would drive me nuts too hang in there 💕

Does he drink a lot before bed? & does he use the washroom before he goes to bed?
