What do you guys prefer Gerber cereal or beech Nut cereal first time that he's going to eat some
@kay7, i didn’t give them cereal
My first didn’t like the texture of it at all! Lol just started with baby food
@walkers-mom so when did you start cereal ?? Even earlier ??? I know people that gave baby food way earlier too (homemade ones) and they just confused on y I havent 😂😂 but I wanna start with cereal first
@jack.ass thanks but even tho it says things there I'm not going to have my son on formula for almost a whole year I'll be giving him formula until a year but also solids... If I was breast feeding well then I would've waited longer...but obesity and poor eating habits really depends on what you start to feed them like the mothers that give candy 24/7 and just frozen processed food then of course there going to be fat and that would prevent being diabete but I mean it really depends on how people see it
I gave both my kids baby food at 4 months 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
@kay7, your doctor is VERY outdated. His peers in the AAP and the WHO say 6 months. I tagged you in a very informative post full of facts and science.
@kay7, we started on the gerber rice cereal at 4 months
Neither. Especially for a 3 month old.
Once they’re 6 months and it’s ok for solids- skip the cereal. They can’t process it until closer to a year.
Gerber, the beech nut cereal looks and smells funky to me and turns into a paste 😣
Baby sleep
Now to get stoned and watch scary movies while eating cereal 😊😊
Well deserved 👌🏽
I see so many mommies giving their babies rice cereal to sleep even though it's not recommended? Why?
I swear y’all kill me when people ask questions about THEIR child. If my child is 4m or 5m & I put a little cereal in the bottle it’s nothing wrong with it at all. NOTHING , especially if his doctor already gave me the go ahead. My god, each one teach their own though.
it’s 10 am where I am rn , do not come on my post with , articles about whatever. I’ll tell you kiss my ass today.

Today’s topic: introducing solids.
I’ll do another about what is ok for feeding, but for now let’s focus on the *when*.
Solids are anything beyond breastmilk or formula. This includes: cereals, juices, purée, etc.
Not only is 6 months an important milestone, but there are also other factors that should ALL be met before introducing: sitting unsupported, loss of tongue thrust, pincher grasp are huge. These ensure your baby isn’t at risk for, amongst other things, choking. Baby being intereste...
So question
Has anybody successfully not be able to give there seconds or third child like cookies fast food etc .
After seeing the effect after giving it to your your first children ?
For example: my son only drink chocolate milk :( he will drink white milk and cereal but never by it self ) with my daughter I’m trying to not give her NONE .
My son loves cookies , I’m trying to not give my daughter none !!
@kay7, if that’s what you got out of all that info, maybe re-read them another day. Definitely give solids and formula after 6 months. But their main source of nutrition needs to be formula until one. Although they have the ability to INGEST solids before then, they don’t have the Digestive Enzymes to process and absorb what they need from solids. Until one, solids are complimentary and more for physical developments. The links are scientific facts, not just feelings and opinions.
