I remember Max having a bad cold and the only place he'd sleep was his bouncer. I tried several things but he was so upsettled. So one night I put his bouncer next to me and he slept in there! That would probably be shunned upon by health visitors but it was the only place he calmed down at that time 🙊🙈

Day one lol! Tried not to...but as a single parent...i had no one lol.... she wouldnt sleep when in her moses basket...10 mins most...and then trying another hour to get her to sleep...then sometimes if i was about to put her down...her eyes pinged open again...and then another hour getting her to sleep lol! 😂😂 I gave up after a week or so....night i let her sleep with me...she slept 7 hours straight lol

Both mine slept in their moses basket or crib but if they were ever ill they came in bed with me, from probably 1month maybe. Max much more than Morgan! Lol I never had our duvet over them though. I'd use a baby/cellular blanket or nothing. Otherwise they just slept next to me.

I co slept with charlie from a few days old because of his breathing issues.

We used a horseshoe shape pillow and had my arm lightly over him.

He's only just gone in his cot a few months ago at 14 months.

Dont have any thick blankets or duvets over her and be careful with the ring pillows mentioned as they can push the head too far down and that's what isn't good for breathing so if chin is to neck too snug thats when its restricting.

I used to put Charlies head to the side. Xx

@genieh this is the first time she has ever been ill so I've never had to think about this tbh. We are both just so tired xx

I always slept with my daughter if she was unwell- it was either that or nobody would’ve slept at all!! Xx

@arlosmomma I see her tomorrow. Allaiyah I wouldn't say is small as she's quite a long baby and at 5 months she's nearly in 6-9month clothes! But last time I got her weighed she was like 12lb or something. Don't fully remember as this cold isn't doing my brain any good🤦‍♀️ x

I've co-slept since day 1. I use one pillow for in-between my knees (pelvis never closed properly after giving birth) and one under my head. We don't use a blanket, if it's really chilly we wear pj's and put a sheet over us. X

@megan-leigh are you due for seeing your HV? When Arlo was small mine asked if I co-slept which I did and she said well we don't recommend it but I can show you the safest ways if you are doing so and it was really helpful, have a google too there's probably some helpful things on how to do it safely xx

@megan-leigh just go with your instinct hun. I'm trying to find a pic of my little girl. She won't sleen unless she's smothered around with pillows. Lol weardo

@natalie2255 well I usually wake up every time she makes a noise so it might help me too 😂🙈 do i remove all my pillows and stuff? She's nearly 5 months old xx

@natalie2255 I know a few people do. Just worried because I haven't done it before! But we are both tired and poorly and she just wants me all the time xx

My daughter slept with me from day one. She just turned one. She sleeps from 8 pm till 8 am. I'm not complaining 😀
