My food stamp benefits people told me that I don't have to work and can be a stay at home mom until my daughter is 6 years old. Has anyone else ever been told this? I was surprised when they told me this.

@taylorsmommy1017 yea you can only get it if your not working women here are mostly on housing so when they get tang they pay like 50$ a month and you can keep your housing forever even if you work you can't get cash assistance if you work tho say 5 years come and the chop your cash down but you really don't go off but not worth it id rather work then survive off of it
@candicebilicki here it goes by income and size of family the less you make the more such as a family of three get 500 a family of two 357 a family of four like 660 and thats if you don't have an income or make a certain amount but ecen if you work they give you how much by how much u make
@gingiej1207 I only get food stamps for all of us. And Medicaid for my daughter
I know here foodstamps are forever but cash assistance is only 60 months
