I seriously want to quit my job. They're nothing but nice to me and truthfully I do love what I do, but the 1+hour commute one way is killing me. I barely see my family anymore. I haven't even told them I'm pregnant because my supervisor had been sick and passed away and the boss of the company, that was his wife, so he hasn't been in either. I'm just tired of it and it most likely has to do with the fact that I'm 38 weeks pregnant, but still.

@mojobebe Yes, I just haven't found a time to tell my boss that's all. When my supervisor (his wife) got sick i kind of thought she would get better and that was when I'd share my news. She ended up not getting better and passed away only a week ish ago. It just feels weird to call him up, because he's not back in the office yet, and be like "I'm pregnant" after he just lost his wife. I guess the whole situation with his family is out of my control though so I shouldn't feel like I can't tell him.
@emily526, got it. But wouldn’t you want to give them a heads up so they can find a replacement for you while you are gone or so they can plan to divide your duties among your other coworkers?
@mojobebe I'm not hiding it, I just haven't told my coworkers. They might suspect, I have no idea. But I also don't show very much. I didn't with my 1st either.
@newlyironman We file for our own leave so no one needs to know for that to happen. And legally no one needs to know period, it's a courtesy. I didn't tell them with my 1st until I was 32 weeks. I had her at 35 weeks and that's when I filed for my leave.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
