Hi guys when can I start going jogging after a c section? My baby is nearly 12 weeks old xx

No one ever told me how long I had to wait before goin to the gym again, it’s annoying that you don’t really get much information after ain’t it.

I would take it easy when starting back into it, maybe do walking mixed in with a lil jog etc always listen to ya body and don’t push it to much, your still healing xx

@gemini95, they don’t do they! All I got told was when leaving the hospital was not to lift anything heavier then what bub weights for so many weeks other then that nothing 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah I know what ya mean ya get told nothing in regards to healing process, what not to do and what to do.

Only one midwife gave me some helpful info and that was after having a shower to dry my scar with a cool hairdryer and wash it was antibacterial soap 👍🏼 xx

@x-t-x, how did you find the healing process? Mine was an emergency c section so it wasn’t planned at all Xx

@gemini95, aww mine was emergency too hun. To be honest I didn’t find it as bad as I thought it would be. It does take awhile for the strength to get back and that feeling of numbness around the scar has completely gone now took around a year and a bit to fully go. I did find I’d get like lighting pain (lasted like a second) now and again as the feeling start to come back but I guess that was just the nerves kick starting up lol. The scar it self I had no issues with, I’d let air get to it when I could, dried with a cool hair dryer, I didn’t put any oils or creams on it, by a year it was just about visible and now if ya didn’t know it was there you wouldn’t notice it lol. I actually love my scar lol xx
