My 1 month old eats between 3-6oz every feeding maybe more depending on if she takes one or both breasts. Im able to pump 3oz from each side. I didnt think at 1 month that they have that big of an appetite. Shes such a skinny little thing but shes got some weight behind her thays forsure it gets more tiring on my arms everyday carrying her around

6 oz is a lot for a 1 month old. Especially breastmilk. My kids never drank more than 4oz of breastmilk in a sitting even at 1. Unlike formula, your breastmilk changes so you don’t need to keep increasing. Are you pace feeding?

@jack.ass shes breastfed very rarely does she get a bottle. 6oz is just an estimate cuz thats what i can pump out. 3oz per side sometimes. she only eats from one side sometimes both

@mom4m, pumping output is completely different from what she can get, I wouldn’t judge by that. I could barely get .5 ounce pumping but ebf my youngest and made him a super chunk 😂 just go by wet diapers to determine if she’s getting enough.
