Has anyone ever done a baby shower in a restaurant?.

Most of the showers we throw for coworkers are done at restaurants. We call ahead to arrange for a large party and try to do it at a time that they’re not usually slammed (usually late afternoon). Mine was at Olive Garden on a Sunday afternoon.

@malbhurtado we have plenty but we don't have any with private rooms

@shay2beautiful, no some games would be cool too as long as you have the space and the atmosphere of the restaurant isn’t too loud.

Yes for my baby boy but it was small jus about 12 people my friends we had dinner opened gifts and had cake at a hyashi type place! It was nice i didn’t want a baby shower but they surprised me. I think it was nice and easy everyone paid for themselves except me of course. Just depends on how many people I suppose.

@mimixtmn my mom was actually thinking of having a couple of games. Do you think that would be tacky?.

@shay2beautiful, sounds perfect. It was nice and different being able to just relax and chat rather then the chaos of games and stuff.

@sabby @niki664 @sdc3615 @mimixtmn I think that's probably what I'm going to end up doing. Everybody keeps asking me if I'm doing a baby shower and I wasn't doing one but I think I'll just do dinner for everyone because they really want to celebrate with us.

I’ve been to one it was really just a dinner with gifts tho.
