Mommas who co slept from the very beginning, how did you get your child to sleep in their own room?…

My son has been co sleeping with us since we brought him home, he has a room but I can’t seem to let him sleep alone, we have a camera in his room but still isn’t good enough , lol he will be two in December I’ll let him sleep in his own room when he wants to, I am in no rush for him to be a big boy as of now I am enjoying these moments ❤️

I have a bedtime routine of bath then we read books for a little bit and I lay down with him in bed until he falls asleep, then I sneak out. He usually wakes up in the night and comes in my room but I go lay back down with him in his bed until he’s asleep again.

@jellybeans_mumm, that’s how I am. Everyone told me it would be hard to get her into her own room, but I really don’t want her to be. Lol. I’ll let her and the new baby sleep with me. They can stay in there with me until their 18 😂😂

@brittanystewart304, lmao I feel the same way I don’t care whatsoever , their only small once so I’m enjoying them as much as I can, honestly if I were you I wouldn’t rush ... lol

I’m not gonna. I’ll fix her room up for her and she can go whenever she’s ready but I don’t see that bein anytime soon. Most of the time she won’t go to bed without me anyways. Lol.

Time. The only downside to co sleeping in my opinion. We put him in his big boy bed and laid with him til he fell asleep but up until maybe 6months ago he would always wake up and find us.

My daughter co-slept with us from the beginning around her second birthday I decided to waste my money fixing up her room lol she slept in it once or twice. After I got pregnant with my son I redid her room again this time with a twin bed so I could use the mattress for my sons bed. She slept in it in the beginning and as it got closer to my due date I found her in our bed. Now every few days the four of us end up in our bed. As long as we all get a good nights sleep I don’t care where she sleeps.

What I started to do with my son a couple of months ago was try to put him in his room to sleep when my husband is at work. My husband works night shift, so when he is home he sleeps in his own room and when he is not he sleeps with me. It a hard because I have been do sleeping since he was born because he was a breastfed baby. He is not fully there yet sleeping alone but it is a start lol
