Whenever I would get my nails/toes done for something special I always did it the day before cause I would be scared of the nail polish chipping or something😩 congratulations 😍❤️

It's relaxing! 😍 few days before is ok. But check they clean the foot bath tub after each customer... sanitized tools too. I read about shaving your legs the day before so any small cuts (that you don't see) close up and no bacteria can sneak through...just a measure of precaution. They usually massage your legs & hands so best to wear shorts/capri than skirt/dress so youre not clenching kneecaps together the whole 1-2hrs. Take your time drying after it may look dry but can smudge super easy 😑

Don't feel pressured to get gel polish or acrylic (fake) nails... do what you want what's more comfortable for you 😎

PS when you walk in say what you want like I want a mani/pedi & then go pick a nail polish color. It's ok to try a little on a nail to double check it goes with your skin tone or style. Have fun 😁

@jessig2006 this is my first pampering 😊 mostly because I've never wanted them done but I'm excited 😍 do you prefer gel or acrylic nails? Think I'm going for the gel cause I've read they are more durable

@kendrab I always get a full gel set and I love it! Sometimes they look at me crazy but I like to get them really short also. That way they last longer and I don't have to go as often. My nails grow very fast. But yes the gel is fantastic! I always have them put gel polish on my toes too. I'm so excited! You'll have to post pics!!!

@jessig2006 def will! I want mine short Haha I cut my nails really short I'm not a big fan of long nails! I'm thinking of getting just a natural nail look and not painted 🤔

I like to get a colored tip like a French manicure but I usually try to match the color with my toes 😄 (that way if they get longer then I like I can just file them down and it doesn't look strange with the color growing out!)
