When did you guys start giving your LO’s learner cups or putting handles on their bottles? The standard dr browns doesn’t make handles and I think the shape of the bottle is hard for her to hold and is too long. Open to switching it up.

Around five months I started putting the handles on her bottles sometimes, and by 7 months she was getting water in a straw sippy cup whenever she ate solids. Now she drinks like a champ out of her sippy cup!

@mommytok, oh ok! her bottles don’t make handles so i’m wanting to switch to a bottle that I can put handles on. what do you use?

@jtaylorg, we use avent naturals bottles and her sippy cup is the munchkin weighted straw. I think I remember you saying before that you tried the avent ones and she didn’t like them? Maybe there’s a different bottle that makes the handles that the dr browns nipple will fit in?

@mommytok, I ended up trying avent again after that and she didn’t really good with them. She actually had a bottle aversion so the issue was never the bottle it was feeding in general. Now she’s doing better :)
