@__m, I think I know that breastmilk is free, and if I could breastfeed I would but can’t for medical reasons. Good for you that you didn’t have to pay for formula but some of us do. Fed is best. Do I expect to have this last a year? No..I was simply posting it in case anyone else wanted to know how to get some free samples. Don’t know why you had to be rude.

@preciouslove, she uses my boob as a pacifier then gets frustrated so I just pump it for her lol in the beginning I had like no milk tho it is depressing

@mimixtmn, yes so true ❤️ I got to do it for the first month but itwasnt much so I did formula too. I would pump constantly in between and in a whole day I’d get a ounce out of each breast! That’s it:(
@preciouslove, I totally understand it’s not for everyone I was just curious because she said she couldn’t. It’s def not easy I almost quit with my first two it was so hard in the beginning, I also find a lot of people get bad advice (sadly a lot of times from nurses in hospital) that end up giving them problems with their supply and production. As long as baby is loved that’s all that really matters.
@mimixtmn, o ok I see your point hun. But not everyone wants to! I personally did not like breastfeeding it was so hard but I really wanted to do it for my baby I tried everything and I jus couldn’t barely produce anything:( it was depressing.
@preciouslove, yes I’ve heard of people not being able to breastfed, but not before even attempting the poster is a first time mom. My dr has always changed my prescriptions in order to be able to breastfeed. Which is why I was curious.
@mommamia18, right girl u said what I was thinking! @mimixtmn, you’ve never heard of people not being able to breastfeed? I have damaged milk ducts from having cysts in my breast removed. But their is also a lot of other reasons why someone can’t breastfeed like certain illness meds surgery’s.

@mommabecca, I got a lot of great things in my target registry gift bag! And there was so many great coupons too! Definitely sign up even if you don’t plan on using it for your registry, I don’t think you need to buy anything to get the gift bag. They didn’t even ask me for confirmation when I asked for mine, they just gave it to me!!

@emily526, yes!! It’s a choice, a personal choice and I don’t see why people feel the need to bring it up. I get asked all the time if I’m breastfeeding, even by strangers! I don’t get why people are so nosy and need to know your personal decisions about your child.

I wasn’t posting about breastfeeding!! That’s so funny your son knows the difference, I want to buy my son the target brand since it’s a lot cheaper, but who knows if he’s going to like it

@iamkimmi, I didn’t think I had an attitude either, I was just saying that not everyone can breastfeed! Everyone knows breastmilk is free, it’s not like you have to pay for your own supply! I didn’t see the point in commenting the obvious🤷♀️ it didn’t really have to do with this post either!

@babybump21 I'd love heads up on how to get free samples. Cuz things don't always go as planned. I planned to only breast feed with my last pregnancy but he got jaundice so bad and was hospitalized on and off for the first month of his life nurses started giving him formula while he was in the UV tank.
So I certainly wouldn't mind being prepared for if I need formula.
My daughter had a milk allergy so they switched her formula to Gerber soy. She was drinking enfamil. This baby will drink enfamil too hopefully he or she doesn't have a milk allergy like their sissy did.
@mimixtmn, any medication that you take goes in your blood stream.. it will go to your breastmilk as well.

My first was formula fed , and my second is breastfed and he gets a few bottles of formula a day too 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ fed is best mama don’t let people bring you down!
@babybump21 It wouldn't matter even if you did choose not to breastfeed. Breastfeeding vs formula feeding is a choice we as mother's get to make. It's not like carseat safety or sleep safety (which are not choices, they are based on safety). My daughter was a preemie who couldn't latch so I pumped until I went back to work, then we switched to formula. I'd love for someone to try and make me feel bad about it 🙄
Even if you just didn’t want to breastfeed , that would be ok! Idk why breastfeeding even needed to be brought up🙄. I got those samples too. We went with similac total comfort. It’s funny bc my son knows he difference between similac and store brand hahahah

It’s not like I’m choosing not to, it’s bc of my medication that I need to take. And what if I could breastfeed but I didn’t produce enough milk or something. Would people want me to starve my child? Fed is best!!!!
@fishinamanda, I got some enfamil samples from my ultrasound place since I was in my third trimester, and you can sign up on the enfamil website and they send you free samples in the mail! Same with Similac, just sign up on the website. And the similac pro advanced newborn bottles I had a coupon from my target registry to get a box for free!

Awesome! I got some free samples in the mail that I'm holding onto incase I have any issues breastfeeding like I did with my 1st. Fed is always best, don't listen to anyone who tried to make you feel badly for your decisions, especially when they don't know your circumstances.

@mimixtmn, it’s because of a certain medication I have to be on after I have the baby. There’s no other alternatives for it so I have no choice. And yeah I was planning on donating or giving it away to some other moms I know that would use it if my LO ends up not liking certain kinds or if I don’t use it
What’s the medical condition that is stopping you from breastfeeding (totally not trying to be rude I’m just super curious as I’ve never heard of that before).
Also remember switching between formulas isn’t ideal so you most likely won’t (or shouldn’t) use all of these but you can donate what you don’t use!
How did you get those for free? I definitely could use some free goodies

@__m, I’m just sick of moms jumping down my throat because I’m not breastfeeding. I get comments all the time from moms and my family because I’m not breastfeeding. It’s frustrating!! I haven’t looked into donor milk that much but that’s actually a good idea. Thanks😊
