So I went to this Thai place for some food and they served us complimentary soup. I asked the waiter what was the ingredients and he never mentioned anything about fish products. Halfway through the soup I was starting to itch. So I called him back over and asked him if there was any kind of seafood in it and he tells me fish oil 🙄 Do you think my baby will be affected since I'm allergic to seafood or can I take a Benadryl and we'll be fine?.

@shay2beautiful, they said as long as no alcohol was consumed and you feel okay! you can go in to ease your mind but all they'll do is maybe prescribe some OTC allergy med
I’ve always been told it’s safe to take Benadryl while pregnant

@lindabelcher well I didn't know that, that was my reason of asking for the ingredients but he conveniently left out fish sauce
I would just put a call in to your drs office, or labor and delivery to ask.
@shay2beautiful, hmm, if you feel fine then maybe.. i'm allergic to cabbage and i are my first egg roll at 8 months, i was scared but i took benadryl to ease myself but my SO was mad i didn't go to the hospital. but that's my experience!
Even if I were fine I'd get my baby checked to be safe and sure

With me it affects my throat only they can tell if it affects the baby's breathing or anything else but do as you plz love as long as you're confident that you AND the baby are okay
