Some questions for mommy's with twins!!
Please help!!!
What did you and your S.O. do to get sleep? Our twins can't seem to get on the same schedule so the whole sleep when they sleep is nearly impossible. Also I breast feed my son but my daughter won't latch to me yet (we actually just managed to get her to take pumped breast milk today instead of formula- thank God for small miracles! She actually spent a lot of time fighting eating in general :/ so her just eating the way she should was the first miracle) I'm going to work with a lactation specialist but in the mean time she gets bottle fed usually by Daddy since she is a bit of a messy eater who frantically moves her mouth when trying to eat (which switching to advent bottles seem to have helped her actually latch to) and so I pump for her. So the second question, how do you make enough milk for both babies? Ironically my son only eats from the left side and he drains it all, and I pump when he eats but I only get about an ounce and a half from the other side. She was only eating formula at first, and we were successfully able to wean her little by little off formula and on to breast milk by mixing the two and slowly altering the ratio until it was breast milk only, which makes me ecstatic to be honest! But the second she started eating pure breast milk she just tore through the amount I had been able to pump out and now it is nearly gone. I will obviously supplement if necessary but I don't want to step backwards if I don't have too! I'm still hoping I can get a lactation expert at the pediatricians office to get her to latch like her brother does, but feel I have a better chance if she is still eating 100% breast milk which the last few feeds today is the first time she has done that since her first feed after being born (the one and only time she really latched). Any advice that helps boost supply is totally welcome!!!!

@jrhynard25 as for us, he had to be on a c-pap at first cause he couldn't breathe the way he should on his own, and his blood sugar was messed up, so they had to monitor him for 24 hrs (it was supposed to be 12 but he failed his last one on those first 12 hrs)... we had to suppliment him per doctors orders originally but he was always a good latcher. Now he acts like he doesn't get enough all the time wants to eat, and has hiccups and doesn't sleep longer than 20 to 40 minutes on average before he is up again, and it is worrisome to me cause I don't know how to help him sleep. She on the other hand didn't want to latch at all, all the nurses tried to help cause I really really wanted to feed her, she started becoming really lethargic and not eating at the hospital but the nurses didn't think anything of it, our pediatrician (different from the hospitals) yelled at us, but she just didn't want to eat at all and kept falling asleep, we finally fixed that, she eats formula if I don't have enough pumped breast milk and sleeps great... as for my incision it's infected and I'm swollen worse than I ever was pregnant by double, but have an impossible time resting or keeping my feet up cause of the babies... they are so beautiful, but a handful, we are trying to find a routine. Sleep schedules are difficult cause baby boy won't sleep
