My newborn boy was circumcised and his piss goes outside the diaper every hour so I have to change his clothes, sheets, diaper, feeling so tired. Someone that have/had the same situation?
@bypaolahz, how does his healing look? My son was born on the 6th and today was the first day we were able to start pointing down.
@bypaolahz, how old is your son? If he is less than a week old then no you don’t want to point it down yet because it’ll be extra irritation for him. Went through the leaky diapers with my first son and now doing it again with my newborn. after it’s healed up nicely then start pointing his penis down.
My son is not circumcised but it has nothing to do with that. You can point it any direction you choose. Lol you want the tip of his penis pointing down into the diaper so it catches the pee and doesn't leak out!!
I ended up getting different diapers for my little guy. I had to go smaller. The problem was they were not tight enough on the top to keep it in the diaper. Drove me nuts. Thankfully after they get a little bigger the problem goes away! I haven’t struggled with this for awhile now. I can’t remember I think pampers didn’t work huggies and target brand worked great!
point his peeper down, same thing happened to me! i don't think it has to do with him being circ'd though
no one ever told me about pointing the penis down until I asked on a different mom app!
Too much Vaseline can make it so the diaper can’t absorb too
It probably has nothing to do with him being circumcised, but you should make sure every time you change him that his penis is pointing down! If it points to the sides it will go out the sides, pointing up it will leak out the top. I point my sons penis down still at every diaper change, only ever happens when someone else changes him and doesn't do this.
@knockout, it looks really good today day 5 but at the hospital tech us how to cleaning and they didn’t tell us to put the penis down
