Everything is falling apart today. Cant i catch a break? Im sinking so damn quick its not even funny. Were about to be without a place to live my fiance makes tomuch to be able to get into the only place big enough for all of us. The 2 bedrooms wont allow all 6 of us. Im just ready to crawl in a hole

I was in the exact same situation when we 1st started searching for a place. Honestly it was nothing but a little luck and maybe someone watching over us but we made it through somehow.

Have you tried looking for private renters as opposed to complexes? Have you looked in other towns that are close enough to his job but would allow for more options? You’re only defeated if you believe you are. Even if that means moving in with your mom momentarily, that’s okay. Keep plugging away and keep looking!

Good luck. That's crazy that they say he makes too much for a big enough places. Most complexes want you to make at least 1.5 times your monthly rent unless it's income based housing

@queenmeeks weve looked everywhere that would be semi close. The literally no 3 bedrooms anywhere. Theres 3 bedrooms available in the next big town but most are in the college area and its a hotspot for sex trafficking so no way am i moving my family there

@tashamagolan they want you to make 2.5 times the rent but also have a max income limit that were over

@mom4m that is odd thst they have a max income limit. The only places here that have a max income limit is public housing or apartments that base your rent on income

@tashamagolan it blows my mind too.. Finding a place around here is hard enough but then you got places like this that has a max on the amount you can make in a year.
