Lady’s I need your help what IUD is better ? 5 or 10 year?

I have a 5 year one. I’m already almost going for 4 years on January. Probably next year I’ll take it off.

@march_mama_16, oh man. That’s terrible. I’m sorry. My mirena tore through my uterus and ended up in my pelvis after 10 months of constant bleeding, cramping, depression, migraines and nausea I ended up having it surgically removed. I’ve heard it’s been great for other people though. Just didn’t work out for me.

@lunachar62, that’s what I heard no more periods , did you gain weight with the 5 year one ? I have the paragard and is not working for me . I’m about to go to the doctor in couple of hours

@mswedes, really I have the Paragard I’m getting bad side effects. I’m getting bad cramps , I feel like I’m going to past out, I have no energy, my back hurts, head , I also have blood clots when I pee.

Well i have 5 yrs no problem and no more periods

I preferred paragard. Mirena gave me a lot of side effects due to the hormones.
