My husband has this thing where he REFUSES to buy cards... Birthday cards, Christmas cards, etc... he said he rather hand them the $3 than spend that money on the card. Therefore our family is known for homemade cards. Today is my BIL's 30th birthday. He loves hippos so I took it upon myself to make him his card... I think the party hat is my favorite lol

@phoebesmommy @yvelid I've come to like making them... for weddings and showers I go all out... for my son's friends, I obviously have my son make the cards.
I tend to save the homemade cards over the store bought ones. Seeing my sons handwriting is the best... Especially throughout the years.
