They collapse in so that there is no air being sucked but you have to make sure the inner part is correctly on the rim before the nipple is twisted on or it will leak everywhere

@dj-du could get complicated if not put correctly it's just 5 pieces counting the top... but try the kiinde twist system was the. Easy thing for me and easy for my grandma and mom

I have playtex they are good I love that bottle has holes at the bottom to take the air out

Theres adapters to pump directly to kiinde. . For the frozen milk you have try the playtex liner bottles or como tomo that's a good one too

I highly recommend the Joovy Boob bottles or the Baby Brezza Bottles If you want a bottle that is good for zero nipple / breast confusion.
