My next appointment is tomorrow. I'm so excited. Do you usually get a 3d ultrasound or do you have to pay for them?

Normally if they have the updated US scanner and printer yes if not and they only have the old technology then no

@jaquelinerachelle, his facial features were so in depth, his nose and everything looks exactly like i seen in ultrasound.. also i seen him sucking on his thumb and toe! it was adorable. his eyes opened so i have pics of that!! and his hands looks bigger in ultrasound and he came out with big hands😭 it was an awesome experience. also the place i went to allowed up to 12 ppl in the room with me so it was a good memory.

any package is worth it. i cried it is so much different than getting a normal ultrasound😭

@jaquelinerachelle, i wanted the biggest packed they offered which was $160 and that included a cd movie with the recording of the whole ultrasound (mine was 20min. long), another cd with 94 different pictures the technician captured, and a teddy bear with his heartbeat that they captured also😊 basically a build-a-bear with his heartbeat when you press the stomach. BUT there cheapest package was $50 and that was just for the movie🙂

my ins wasn’t involved at all, this was a separate business that just needed to know my pregnancy info like how far along i was, if i wanted to know the gender & etc. so might just depend where you live🙂

i think you have to pay for them, i payed for mine and the ppl i know that for one also had to pay for them..

Totally depends on your insurance.
