You can lose your mucus plug early and it’ll grow back. Doesn’t always mean you’re going into labor but if you think it came out I’d still tell my doctor about it. Also, typically most women lose it after 37 weeks, little by little leading up to birth or right before giving birth and often times don’t even realize it. Technically it has to come out at some point though. It’s called a plug for a reason.
