Any parents split up with a 2 1/2 yr old, my sons dad n I are on verge of breaking up with 50/50 custody but I want this to be as easy on my son as possible I’m worried for my sons sake. Thought we could work it out but we just can’t
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
I need some advice my ex and I broke up November 27th and we haven't gotten along at all since we have fought almost ever day since we broke up and its about everything but our daughter. Now I have this great opportunity to move to New York with my sister and work in one of the biggest hospitals. He is telling me I can't take my daughter with me when this move can benefit from my kids and me. I've decided I'm going to go means I will be leaving in 2 months. But he's telling me if I leave he will...

Until we find out what iron baby is. Decided to do an early scan since my husband won't be at the next ultrasound, and my son won't be at our level 2 scan...I wanted us all together.
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...
Ive never been in that situation. But, i am that kid whose parent’s relationship didnt work out.
My grandparents raised me. My mother went to another country to work and would visit me during the holidays. I grew up knowing nothing of my dad. Assuming he didnt want me or he left my mother and i. One year my mom introduced me to a man who is now my stepdad. He and i did not get a long for 20+ years.
Sometimes i wish my parents didnt drag me into their issues. At least give me a chance to know both sides even if they could not be together. Make my own decison on who gets to be in my life or not. Whether i do that at a young age or when i am older.
Till this day, i dont know anything about my dad besides a brief explaination as to why it didnt work out. I met him once but i was so distant because i am shy. He died shortly after.
I am not close to anyone on my mother’s side of the family. Which also sucks because i am an only child.
My mom and i have a better relationship now, but it took a very long time for us to get to where we are.
