When I had mine done I think it was $2300. I had a discount though cause my father works with the doctor that did mine. I was able to see later that day, and perfectly the day after. I did have bruising in my eyes that took longer than normal to heal (I’m a slow healer for small injuries, super fast for big), so my eyes were red instead of white for about a week, and had to use sunglasses while working the first few weeks due to sensitivity (ultrasound tech), but my vision is still 20/20.

I don’t remember what my vision was before, but I had a severe astigmatism in both eyes, so my procedure was a bit difficult. I even jolted from nerves during since the Valium they gave me didn’t do much, and got a black eye from hitting my face on the equipment while they were repositioning it to the second eye

@boosienana @denessev not sure why ur feeling offended I was not attacking u. I also did say maybe it is done differently in different areas here they do not schedule u in the am they do it as late as possible so ur eyes say closed so u can rest and not try to look at tv or anything. I was just saying the difference for the young lady that asked. But u have a great one dear and it's wonderful u followed instructions.

@boosienana @denessev I had to go home with the goggles on and keep my eyes closed the day of surgery and put eye drops every few hours by the next morning I was able to see but eyes were super sensitive. Maybe surgery is done differently in different areas but its weird he was able to see the same day after surgery. When its recommend to not open ur eyes.

@denessev my vision was -1.75 in both eyes and for the surgery and the lifetime guarantee I paid 3,000.

@denessev, RIGHT? They usually send you home a video of your procedure. I watched my moms and found myself blinking a mile a minute it’s freaky haha

@denessev, I know me too. A few years ago I went to get it done, but was told I have to wait 2 more years cause my eyes got worse and they need to be consistent for at least 2 years... well the next year they went up a 1000, making is 2500.

Im sure other places would be cheaper though. I just know I’m Saskatchewan most places are through the roof expensive :(

@day1401, lol I can’t see anything like a foot away from me! That price makes me think twice lol I know I really want it though. I’ve worn glasses since I was a kid and I hate it. Each appt my vision is worse.

I can’t remember what mine is at this point but I legit have the worst vision, like definition of bottle cap glasses lol I can’t see a damn thing without contacts or glasses on.

I’m not sure what the difference would be in where we live but here is basic pricing per eye. $2500 an eye :( give or take a few hundred.

@boosienana, @turk, @lizibear84, do you guys know how bad your vision was and how much you paid? I know prices vary and I’m scared it’ll be through the roof lol I have like a -4.75 in one eye and like a -5.00 in the other plus astigmatism in my right eye.
