thought I write a post about it, since there seams to be a correlation? so if you start potty training late, children seam to refuse to go, maybe they are scared or used to the diaper by that age???
anyways, latest as soon as baby can sit somewhat, sit them on the potty/toilet(of course hold on to them until they are good at sitting) try to have them do their stuff, but not for to long, just a moment, like some minutes (maybe 5 mins?) compliment them on doing something on toilet :) do that every time you change a diaper, it doesn't maybe help to.get them dry quicker, but they won't refuse the potty... also if they don't want to sit, make them sit anyways, they are trying g to get away with it, so don't let them :) maybe use a timer to have them sit for a bit, eggtimers are anyways exciting, but just not to long ;)
just wanted to mention it, from own experience, so good luck :)

Heh, wasn't that easy for me neither! My daughter was using a potty a couple months and the week we started a daycare she refused to sit! After a week we slowly going back, but that experience was completely unexpected for me 😒

oh yeah... it is going a lot back and forth... they learn something new, something else is on hold or going even backwards... and daycare is a hard thing on kids, as mommy and daddy are suddenly not there for a long time and I don't know if they even understand that they will be picked up later and all, but it's still no parents for comfort and safety :(

I started cleaning daughters teeth at her 4 months and it was fine at the beginning, but now she still hates it. So not necessarily the early start of potty training will pay afterwards. And kids at their few months doesn’t even have the reflexes of doing stuff themselves, so I doubt there is any point of sitting 4-5 months old child to a potty.

@iri.kar ours have been actually doing most of the time some stuff on the toilet... and the point is not doing stuff on toilet, but the habit of being on toilet, so that they are used to it :)
I mean you don't play right away a match when you start playing for example batminton... first you start with opening and then the next step and the next... the sane goes for potty training... first step is to get them to sit... then after some weeks they might even pee... and then they will make the next step and the next...
the main issue is that children refuse to sit there, maybe because it's weird and scary or what ever... but if they go early, they don't have that yet...
about your toothbrushing... did the little one have teeth already at 4 month? I started when they got teeth... they don't like t, but let us brush teeth...
