Hey mamas. Anyone pregnant with their second and wondering how to share the bonding time with your first child so they won’t feel jealous or left out. Our son is 3 & excited for his little sister. He’ll be in school during the day which is fine. I think including him in activities that with her like some bottle feeding or a diaper change or just songs to sing things like that. Anything else ?

In all honesty they don’t really understand they actually see something , so maybe before you due get a lilttle baby so he can practice with lol , my son is scared of babies idk what imma do but then again siblings tend to know siblings and just take

Omg I’m in the same boat lol my son turns 4 tomorrow he isn’t in school yet... but he LOVES helping me out with everything I do so I know if I involve him with everything I can with the baby he will be okay....something as simple as grabbing me a bottle of water he gets so excited and feels accomplished! I think as long as u try to include him in as much as u can he wouldn’t feel left out ❤️

My daughter wasnt happy. She was jealous and anger. Just try to include them in things. Now my daughter gives toys to her brother, throws away diapers on peepee ones. Gives him some thing he dropped just try to include them with the newborn.let them shake the bottle, throw away diapers, let them hold the newborn with your supervision obviously.

I’ve been having this issue since I first found out😩 I feel so bad for making my daughter share me now after she’s had me me all to herself for 6 years. I know she’ll be a big help but I just don’t want her to ever feel like I’m giving the baby more attention

@kpcharlie94 my daughter is 7. Shes been my world for 7 straight years. The first great great grandchild, the first great and first grandchild on my moms side. So it's safe to say she is super spoiled. Now baby #2 is coming and she hated babies until I got pregnant with this one. Now she is super super sweet. Still thinks baby stuff stinks bad! But shes growing into the idea.

@letmegetagrip, right yeah i had those in mind. I’ll be strictly breast feeding so no shaking bottles lol. But he’ll definitely be holding her with mommy & daddy right by his side
