Does anyone else’s 6-7 month old sleep 11-12 hours without waking up for a feed? My doc thinks he should be sleeping straight through. I find that so long for a little one who doesn’t eat a ton of solids yet.

I think doctors say that because it’s much cheaper for those using formula, but it’s recommended that they have formula or breast milk until at least 12 months.

@fitmomma93, looks like we just gotta do what our babies need and not what our doc says haha poor baby woke up hungry in the early am , of course I’m gonna go feed him!

My doc said the same thing about sleeping through the night, and my daughter just started to at 11 months. Also both my babies stitched to homo milk at 10-11 months and didn't have a problem

@carusod91, I’ve heard of some people introducing homo milk. I personally want to keep Maddox on formula until 12 months.

@maddoxsmama, @em.schultz0, ok that’s good to know. I was a little shocked that he should be sleeping without waking up to eat. Also he said I can introduce homo milk at 10 months ?? Did anyone else do that? My son is bottle fed breast milk only.

No. We sleep trained pretty early (4 months) but I still continued to feed 1-2 times during the night until 12 months and then 1 time during the night until 18 months.

Nope! Maddox is 9 months and still gets up twice a night for a bottle
