Today my poor baby had 2 febrile seizures. Pretty sure I’ve never been more scared in my life😭

@mojobebe, basically said that it’s super common in children and it can be genetic. I also had a febrile seizure but I was around 18 months when I had mine. So they aren’t concerned at all

I would be so freaked out! What did the doctor say?

@mommynes, just said he had febrile seizures and the jerking was clonic movements. He has an appointment today to see his primary just to do a check on him

@raisingaleyaandethan, that’s so scary!! What did the dr who saw him say? You can alternate the meds so you don’t have to wait the full 6 hours before another dose.

@mommynes, so far he’s okay. About 2 hours after the seizures he was jerking really bad for about 30 minutes and every time he just screamed. We are giving him Motrin and Tylenol every 6 hours for 2 days now to be sure his fever doesn’t come back.

My daughter was 5 days old @ 7 Days old she got diagnosed with epilepsy. Hasn't had a seizure since April 1st of this year. She's 5 months old! They are very scary to witness. .

@glencoco, my son was six months, and the same thing it ended up being the flu, I have never seen anyone have a seizure it was awful.

Op hope your little one gets better super fast.

They’re very scary. I took my daughter to the hospital when she had hers, she ended up having the flu. Hope they’re ok.
