Day 3 of this random rash that appeared from nowhere. Hes on antibiotics for the almost infected looking poison oak on his leg and a steroid to hopefully help the rash
@jack.ass thays why im having such a hard time with figuring out what the rash is.. He does have an area on his leg where it first looked like a scrape then turned blistery that spot def looks like poison oak but this second rash all over his body i have no idea i wanna say its an immune response to the poison oak and the 2 doctors we seen said the same but it does look an awful lot like chicken pox so imma just have wait it out. If he gets sick and tge other kids get it then i will know forsure.
If it was contact dermatitis through vegetation (poison oak/ivy) you’d typically see lines of blisters where a branch would have swiped. I’ve been dealing with the worst case my doctor has seen for the last 2 weeks- so I feel like a bit of an expert 😬 my son and I are EXTREMELY allergic to the oils. This does not look like that at all.
This looks like chicken pox. In which case antibiotics won’t do anything. If he scratches and gets an infection it will, but it won’t rid the rash. When my oldest had chicken pox the doctors tried to blame everything else and not diagnose it. They don’t want to admit kids are still getting it.
Just read through past posts! I'm sorry about what he is going through! I hope you figure it out. Overnight, I developed an allergy to the detergent I'd used my whole life and I had a rash everywhere. It took us forever to figure out what it was and they had to use steroids to help take it back down. It was horrible. Poor kid!

Is This A Teething Rash ? Thank You x
