My dad sucked at being a dad to his biological children, but he was excellent as a stepfather. Coincidentally, he has sucked at being a grandfather to mine and my sister’s kids, but he sees my stepsisters 3 girls every single weekend when he’s in town from work. The best part is, he called me (rare occasion) and I had it on speaker, he told my 2 year old son he wanted to see him this weekend.. well guess who hasn’t called 🤷🏼‍♀️ He remembered too, and he was looking forward to it. Ugh I can’t stand my fake ass family, thankfully my in laws are AMAZING and see my kids and us all the time ❤️
