Question mommas.....I’m having regular contractions and I had a prenatal appt yesterday. I was at 2cm dilated then. I don’t think I have changed in terms of dilation but I am in so much pain I can’t even take care of my toddler without help and my husband works all day everyday. If I go into labor and delivery to get checked again and they try to send me home if I haven’t dilated...is here a way that I can get them to help me jump start labor or keep me? I just hesitate because I don’t want them to send me home if I haven’t dilated. I’m the most uncomfortable and in pain I have ever been.
@lacysmith0217, I am going to do that now and see what he says. Hopefully it’s good news
@jaymebaby07 most likely not be you are considered full term.. I'd just call your ob and be like I'm in a lot of pain is there any way you could squeeze me in and induce me tonight
@lacysmith0217, I didn’t realize that! Thank you! Is there anyway that they could deny me? I just want to make sure I have all my bases covered
@jaymebaby07 your 39 weeks you can call your ob and ask if they can induce you if you want.. they can't deny you your considered full term
@lacysmith0217, more uncomfortable than ever. I’m trying to do some yoga to get myself in active labor but I don’t know if it’s working or not and I hurt
@jaymebaby07, it’s better to be safe than sorry especially since you’re having regular contractions that are 2-3 minutes apart
@beeforever98, I am so hesitant to even go in 😑😩 because I don’t think I am dilated anymore Han I was yesterday. I am assuming but idk
@beeforever98, I called my ob and they told me to go in. I also called the labor and delivery department at the hospital I would go to and they told me that if I came in I would be checked, monitored for a couple hours, checked again and if I didn’t dilate anymore I would be sent home. It’s discouraging because I was told that my body isn’t reacting to the contractions because they aren’t intense enough for my cervix to dilate. I also lost my mucous plug yesterday. The whole thing all at once
Honestly I would go in or call your ob since your contractions seem to be consistent and regular.
@shayybear, I was told to keep doing things to help myself get into active labor but it hurts. I am having contractions 2-3 minutes apart but apparently they aren’t intense enough for me to dilate......I can barely walk. I look like I’m crippled when I try to walk around or anything.
@jaymebaby07 good luck to ya! Every ob us different. . But let me know!! (:
