You've had a major emergency operation babes! Being traumatised is completely acceptable, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Feeling down about your scar is OK! You're entitled to feel that way. It doesn't discredit the love you feel for your daughter......I wonder if people would say the same thing to someone saying they felt down about a scar elsewhere on their body. Your body has changed and it may take time to come to terms with it but I promise it will get easier. I don't have a csection scar but I do empathise with how you must feel. Just remember you're still beautiful, you're an amazing mummy and you're strong. You can get through this. And if you feel yourself getting really low see a doctor babes. It's ok to need help to come to terms with changes to our bodies and lives. Xxx

@carlybeanw I know it's so malicious. My baby girl is my everything! But it takes time to adjust to the changes! And part of it is admitting it's a problem for you x

@megan-leigh I can't blooming stand it when people turn all "be greatful" like pfft. I'm greatful for my kids, not so much for wobbly bits. I will be in a few months but right now I feel so uncomfortable in my body. & it's NORMAL too x

@carlybeanw Thank you! I know how lucky I am just because my scar brings back memories and stuff doesn't mean I love my daughter any less. I wouldn't change anything it's just coming to terms with it all xx

@jennyrodd88 count herself lucky? My gosh!! Having a baby changes your body whether you have a c-section of not. I for one have found it very hard this time around with how my body has changed, I've cried about it at low points. I'm extremely lucky to be a mum but it doesn't stop the way I feel. There's no need to be so harsh because of the way someone else feels about THEIR body!

@megan-leigh I completely get it. I was really surprised by some of the comments on here as well. And I just wanted you to know that it's ok to feel how you're feeling. Keep that beautiful smile on your face. You're doing great!!! Xxx

@pearce5443 Thank you it means a lot. And I thought a lot of women would understand especially if they have been in that situation! It's scary and does stick with you. Like I still remember being layed on a table like a piece of meat. Lights all shining in my eyes with like 9 random strangers around me. I remember the mask they put over my mouth and the feeling of not being able to breathe properly and trying to catch some air. All while I'm on my own. And I guess when I see it it's a reminder of it all 🙈 And the first step was speaking to my OH about it so if I feel I need more help I will go back to the doctors thank you! It means so much thank you xx

It does get easier as time goes on hun you dont even remember that they're there, ive got stretch marks everywhere I used to get self conscious about and now I have scars from my operation from losing my baby, they're a lot harder to look at than the stretch marks for sure but its all part of whats happened in your life they'll fade xx

Mines not neat either! But they do fade sooo much! You didn’t long ago have your little one, so give it a bit longer and it won’t be so obvious! Xxx

@megan-leigh I know it's not the same but it's completely normal to feel insecure about your body it's not just your scare it's the whole of our body change after pregnancy we get wobbly bits stretch marks and my main thought was does my you no what look the same 😂 let alone is it going to shrink back so it's not like a bowling alley in there 😂(yes it dis shrink back 🤣) but it's okay we all have worries and it's completely normal and when you get used to your new body you will love it and be proud of it and all the things you went through to get your new body you should be proud of because your way braver than me !! Xx

@megan-leigh, ignore the non helpful comments hun there’s always one. But just sayin all ya had is nasty comments is a bit of a kick in the teeth to the ones that are actually trying to support ya and that’s why I asked @fisazaman95,

As for the main reason to ya post -

I totally understand in regards to thinking back about what happened or what could of happened etc just give it time, maybe talk to someone about it if you can. Your scar will fade I’m guessing right about now it’s like a thin red line? Seriously few months from now it won’t bother you at all and be faded.

Sorry to hear that you was attacked hun, some horrible people around! xx

I think scars are hard to deal with any sort of scar s life changing it's something that wasn't there before and you got it with no choice I haven't had a c section bit I can relate to how you feel about it I have a massive untidy scar on my arm and it's awful ! I thought well no one is going to want someone with a scar like this ! Woman don't have scars like these ! It makes you feel like your not going to look the same as befor but it's suppose it's just life and a nothing thing we have to deal with but you will feel better about it and you can get lots of oils and things to reduce the colour of it and you learn ways to work around covering it up I hope you feel better soon and learn to love your new body because your mummy now and everything you have been through proves your the best mummy for you baby 😊 chin up xx

Yet some people have now made me feel so much worse 😭 I've been through a lot this weekend including being attacked by a woman over 30 I don't need this xx

Hun no one and I mean NO ONES scar is goin to be neat, it’s an emergency c-section. You’d be pissed if the doc was taking their time makin sure it was neat. I’d of had mine by the throat lol.

It’s scary I know, mine went from good to bad in seconds. I had to be put out too, nothing worked on my back, it was black & blue the next day. It sucks missing ya baby being born BUT it’s so worth it, all of it is. Their healthy & here that’s all that matters. Your scar ain’t ugly far from it, it’s amazing hun! Xx

It's just a silly battle with my own mind 😭 Think the whole operation traumatised me a little bit. With being put to sleep and stuff. And then all this trouble over the weekend it's just getting to me x

Why you struggling to come to terms with where your daughter came from. Your lucky, a lot of girls would die to have a scar where a baby came from, unfortunately not everyone can have them. Count yourself lucky
