I officially applied for apartments, I have been so set on keeping my family together that I don’t realize how much worse it is for myself and children, how fighting and name calling affects them. I don’t want them growing up thinking it’s normal to treat people like that. It’s so scary starting over. But I know it’s for the best.

Sometimes an end to the relationship is the best choice. It might seem scary right now, but as someone who experienced it first-hand, two separate happy homes is MUCH better than one dysfunctional one.
