Mamas got a question about shaving down there before labor. Do OB's think its better to have it shaved before labor or not?

I don’t care what they think! It’s easier for me to keep it clean when shaved. I shave in general and shaved before my last birth and was glad I did! So much blood etc, it was easier to clean. Do what you are comfortable with :). If you don’t shave, then it might be really itchy for you if you decide to all of a sudden- it’s not for me probably because I’ve been shaving forever.
@linda661231 Lmao😂😂 hubby says its like a forest down there and pokes him when we make love. So thats one of the reasons i even shaved it before. Now i just let it grow, let it grow! Lmao

Depends what kind of delivery you have, for a csection you do it at home or they do it for you right before
They don't care. I wound up having a c-section and they shaved what they needed to.

I shaved with my 1st one It was a scheduled induction. But my 2nd one came early.. didn't have time but I was trimmed.. but the docs. And nurses doesn't mind it

The actually prefer you not to shave a couple weeks before to prevent infection of ingrown hairs. I was scheduled for a induction with my first and ended up going into labor before and had a c section and second one c section and both times were told not to. If they need to the will trim but not fully shave
If you are having a c section they will shave you, for vaginal deliveries I don’t think it matters
I was a hairy beast during all 3 deliveries 😂😂😂 I dnt think they really care.
Back in old days they shaved the women. But now a days I truly dont think it matters

Question for women who have been threw the labor process already....Did you shave before you went to the hospital? It's been so hard to shave lately..I just don't see myself shaving at 40 weeks lol

I got a dumb question. 😁😂 so I always shaved before I went in to be induced. But this time I don't think am. But my friend was telling me that if my hair is long enough they will trim it while I'm in labor. 😂 But since it's coming from her I can never believe what she says. 🙄 has this ever happened to anyone? Lol I would like to know that way I'll just attempt to shave before I get induced Monday.
