Help my kids are getting very clingy lately how do I get them to stay off of me!!

Mine are to OMG it's bad when all I want to do is lay down

@aidensmommy2011 it's like they know every time I sit down they come and like smother me I have one on each side plus the baby inside me.

It's a separation anxiety phase. It's normal happens several times throughout their toddler hood. It's usually accompanied with stranger danger, fear of the dark, etc. It'll pass just keep up with the usual routines

@vvrobinson I don't think it's separation anxiety cuz my girls are always ready to leave me and tell me bye and walk out the door. I do know they get jealous of each other so once one gets on me the other one has to know me then that dog wants to get on top of me as well. And it's only whenever I sit down. Cuz if I go lay down I could care less.

@vvrobinson I enjoy it but then it gets to a point where I have a leg or elbow in my stomach pushing down on the baby pushing down on me throughout the day and then I start getting irritated cuz I just want one minute somewhat to myself without kids which I know is not possible cuz I have one with me 24/7. Lol

I just tell my kids "your dad has a secret and candy" they run to him 😂

@lillynellasmom lol awh poor mama. Being preggo with a toddler (s) is freaking hard. I would never recommend it to anyone after going through it myself lol I hope you get some alone time somehow

@amandajune that would help if my husband was home during day but my husband doesn't get home until 7:30 or 8 at the latest on a good day.

@vvrobinson only time I get it is when my husband's off once out of the week and that's if he doesn't have something he wants to do or I have to have him do something for me.

@lillynellasmom that's the hard thing about being a mom of kids that are close in age. Just kinda comes with the territory. If I didn't care about my girls having each other to grow up with I'd never have them so close together

@lillynellasmom aw well that could be hard! I remember when I was pregnant with a toddler and it's not easy! Now my kids won't even kiss me in public bc their "so embarrassed" lol my 8 year old can be real clingy when it's just him and me.
