Ok so question I didn’t think I lost my mucus plug can I still be dilated? And could I have lost it and not know?

I was 5cm when I went into my Dr to be checked. I didn't lose mine on my own, he stripped it

Yes, I dilated way before I lost mine like up until 3-4 cm but I went into early labor with all my kids, your plug can also regenerate too.
