Can I have a different perspective on what a contraction might feel like because right now i'm not sure if I'm having one or not LMAO 😭
I guess rule of thumb is if you’re asking then it’s not a real contraction 🤣 - my Braxton-Hicks never hurt - they’re uncomfortably tight but no pain.
@mbelton5 then i'm def not there yet lmaoooo thats going to suck my period cramps usually have me ready to curl into a ball on the floor.
@prettygurl_30 99% sure these are just braxton hicks then. They're coming every 6 mins but are definitely bearable.
Real contractions are unbearable and more consistent much worse then menustral cramps Braxton Hicks are bearable more like a tightening of the bellow and kind of takes your breathe away sometimes lasts for about 60 seconds.
@bigmama18 okay because I had what my doctor said were probably braxton hicks earlier this week maybe these are more of those they just feel different.
I would time them just to make sure. If they get to 5 mins apart call L&D.
@muva.tings, that sounds like Braxton Hicks. They are like mild cramps. I believe real labor contractions are like that but a lot stronger and cover the entire belly. That’s how it is for me at least.
@thepowerof3 okay, thank you so much. Nothing has really felt as described during this pregnancy and I know every womans experience is different so I wasn't sure.
@thepowerof3 @bigmama18 okay ladies so yesterday I was only 1cm dilated amd 80% effaced. I'm having a tight pain at the bottom of my stomach that feels like an irritating cramp. Not nearly as bad as my real cramps but similar that lasts a bit and then goes away and comes back. I'm wondering if I should time them.
Feels like someone is stabbing you in the stomach. It hurts so much. Then all of a sudden the pain is gone, just as quick as it came.
@muva.tings, awww, honestly i could have been overreacting because I don’t get cramps during my cycles so I wasn’t ready at all. Everybody got cursed out 😂
