How long do produce colostrum?

Took me about 4 days for my milk to come in.

@bitchcraft I've got so much colostrum I just pump 2oz outta my left boob

Also my nipples are very nig n my little one don't seem to like it he will latch for s few mins n then gag n let go so im pumping it out for him

@keeondracarroll01 it will take some getting use to breastfeeding is hard but if pumping works then do it 🖒 just don't forget skin to skin to help with let down 😄

@ironbutterfly right my daughter just took right to it as soon as she was born and so dis he but now he kinda just acts like he just wants to be near then just not eat lol so I'm like ok pumping hurts less to me and idc as long as it's my milk he's getting

@keeondracarroll01, colostrum. It’s very yellow. Milk is noticeably white. Your milk will be yellowish for a few more days then change over to more of a white.

@keeondracarroll01 exactly lol whatever works best! My daughter was much easier to breastfeed my 2nd my milk supply was crap so we formula fed and with my youngest it a working great 😊

@ironbutterfly with my first she only liked my right boob and my left wasn't getting fully drained so it got backed up and I ended up getting mastitis:( this time I have an electric pump and I make sure I'm drained both lol

@keeondracarroll01 oh god i got that for the first time with my youngest it felt like death it was so bad. Both my oldest and youngest liked the left but this time around I'm lopsided lol no matter what i do the right doesn't catch up 😄
