I’ve never done this on either of my pregnancies but I really have a taste for a glass wine.

@mommmy2k15, Ill be about 3 weeks postpartum at thanksgiving but at that point it will be over a year since I’ve had a drink. I’ll have to try some juice with sprite and see how that works for me! Lol

@sara672014, by thanksgiving I’ll be able to have my glass of wine lol . Non alcoholic bush doesn’t even sound appealing I’ll pass lol the cram-grape and sprite was pretty satisfying to me

I have had cravings for wine the past week or so, it’s been an interesting craving as I can’t really give in. Thinking my glass of wine on thanksgiving might give me a buzz though lol I’m curious as to how the non alcoholic wine tastes. My dad actually can’t drink because some medicine he’s on so he’s been drinking non alcoholic Busch and he says that’s pretty good as far as N/A beer goes.

I’m a recovering alcoholic of 8 years. Very recently (within the last year) I started drinking non-alcoholic wine. I love it. Did you guys know that the benefits you get from red wine (aka reducing heart disease, etc) is actually more beneficial in non-alcoholic wine. The alcohol in regular wine actually reduces some of the benefits. So non-alcoholic red wine is actually more effective at helping your heart.

That being said, Fre has a Red Blend that is amazing and is our favorite. A bottle is usually about $10. Ariel is another really good brand. Their merlot and Chardonnay is good.

@jmarieg, I didn't try it. It felt so pointless for me to do so lol. I'm a wine lover myself anyway but he loves his beer. He said it wasn't bad. It was Beck's. I'm sure other brands could taste awful compared to others.

@jmarieg, How interesting. I didn't know that about OJ either. Honestly, I never cared to splurge on non alcoholic beverages while pregnant so I just had grape juice. I just discovered this the other day though when my DF accidentally ordered non alcoholic beer on Prime Now 🙄😂 We couldn't return it so he figured he might as well drink it.

@bigmama18, I was going to recommend that but I recently discovered some non alcoholic beverages still contain a small amount of alcohol. 😬 I was quite surprised.

My husband just came home with cran-grape juice lol think I’m gone try it with some sprite .

They make some pretty ok non alcoholic wine.

@mommmy2k15, yes it is the bitter sweet hell yeah it’s a craving cranberry juice and mixes help too😍 I craved beer like nobody’s business with my other pregnancy’s

I had a craving for a glass of red wine my last pregnancy so I chilled a wine glass and drank grape juice mixed with a little bit of Sprite in it. It did the job.
