So I’m notice when i feed my daughter she still get hungry afterwards. What should i do when i give her the pacifier she sucks on it like she still hungry ?
@reanasanders26, non-nutritive sucking is a good thing and perfectly normal. Sucking is for comfort, for more than eating. You don’t want to stretch her belly or it’ll lead downs an difficult path. I definitely wouldn’t give more than an ounce a feed. It should take 10 minutes to take the ounce when properly pace feeding at that age. As they get older it’s 5 min an ounce.
4oz in one sitting for a 4 day old? Way too much. Look up pace feeding. She should barely be taking .5-1oz at this time. Why do you think she’s hungry? What signs is she giving?
Feed her. She's most likely cluster feeding.
I’m bottle feeding her so the bottle they give her at the hospital i been using those.
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!

Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
So 2wks and 3 days into my breastfeeding journey and it's been a roller coaster of emotions and experiences....but the good news is that she's latching better but even after she eats for 15-40mins she's still hungry so I give her a bottle and she's still hungry! 😔 what am I doing wrong?!
Shoot my son ate 4 oz when he came out reading this im surprised he wasn't a fatfat
