Have any mom’s used this for teething babies?

@mommyof_2woprincesses, I agree I wouldn’t push it also . The teething is so bad over her I just order the chamomile tablet from nuby hoping they would work also . Teething sucks it’s putting a lot of stress on the whole family I feel for you

@oceanbabe424, see my daughter doesn’t like teething toys. I’ve bought some and she didn’t use them thawed or frozen. I even tried to use the mesh pacifier. I’m going to call her pediatrician to ask about this. If they say no I’m just going to have to let her ride it out until the 6 teeth come in

@doctor.p, even if it’s Benzocaine free? Cause I know that was why they didn’t want you using any orajels. I’m just wondering cause if not then I’ll just take it back.

I actually had that for my daughter. She’ll just eat it right off her gums. She does like the teether. After I brought it I was told they don’t recommend putting any gels on kids gums anymore so I didn’t wanna risk it and I didn’t use it after that. Babies love cold teethers though. Get any teether and just sit it in the fridge and have them chew on it. It worked well for my daughter

@kailaraeauna, we actually have the teething tablets here but they aren’t made by orajel. It’s some other name brand. But unfortunately they were sold out of them. Then I found this. And some other teething stuff that wasn’t medicated but I was still afraid to use because it’s orajel

@kailaraeauna, true. I rather be safe than sorry though. Cause I didn’t hear about it until I asked why there wasn’t any on the shelves. I was so lost. I thought everybody bought it all lol

@kailaraeauna, that’s why I’m confused on the whole orajel thing. I used it on my oldest daughter and nothing went wrong so why is things going bad now.

@briannalynn547, my daughter chews on her pacifier but she drops it on the floors in the store even when it’s clipped to her shirt lol. I found this at Walmart with other Benzocaine free stuff.

@wickedlittlethings., see that’s what I was looking for but they were sold out. But I found this and it was Benzocaine free so I didn’t think it would hurt.

@kailaraeauna, Thanks love! I have a 8 month old with 6 teeth coming in at the same time so I need something to make her feel better. And like you said I saw where orajel was bad cause I was wondering Why couldn’t find it anywhere lol cause I haven’t used it in 2 years.

@kailaraeauna doesn't matter. A tiny amount is still alot for a baby, it's no worse than rubbing vodka on their gums but alright. 🤷

We used the Nuby chamomile teething tablets for my daughter.

@kailaraeauna, see they had recalls on orajel and Walmart took them all of them off the shelves because of the Benzocaine this doesn’t have it

@kailaraeauna that's not a good idea.. Most vanilla extracts contain 35% of alcohol..

Anyways, this orajel is fine. I definitely don't recommend vanilla extract.

My son loves the pacifier thing itself . It really helps with the teething, I never saw it in a pack like that with the gel though! I’m gonna go look for it . My chewing on the paci helps him tons

@gecko_mom, our store has taking all the orajel off the shelf because of it but I guess since this one doesn’t have it, they sell it but I just want to know if it works.

@gecko_mom, the articles say that you shouldn’t use them because of Benzocaine. This is Benzocaine free.

I personally would not use any sort of teething gel for a kiddo. :/ There are just too many articles of kids having issues where they stop breathing for my tastes.
