I have the spectra s9+ and hopefully will be getting the s2 soon i like the spectra models. I had the medela but imnot a fan after learning its an open system
@meka2013 i have medicare bcbs and got a free pump. Edgepark.com is what i used to get mine they offer the s2 aeroflow doesnt without paying some money
@meka2013, I have BCBS and they covered a free pump for my daughter 2 years ago (I chose Medela). You should just call your insurance and ask because different policies have different ways for you to redeem them as well.
I needed a script from my doctor to send into a medical supply store, who kept it on file and delivered the pump to me in the hospital after I delivered. Other people can have it shipped to them ahead of time from online sources or whatever, so its best to see what the requirements are for your specific plan.
@meka2013, my insurance only covered specific brands and models as well, so that's another reason to give them a call. Then you can decide if you want to pay out of pocket or go with what's provided.
Ive had and ameda (which was okay) me Dela pump in style (my fave) and this pregnancy I got the lansinoh smart pump which I regret because the suction sucks
Spectra s2 all the way and I used the aeroflow website to order mine. they contact the insurance company for you and give you options to choose from. I have bcbs.

I have the spectra s2 and I love it! Any pump that ends in an “A” is a hospital grade pump and the LC told me those are the best
