Okay so we just decided to cancel our baby shower bc we were gonna be out of soooo much money for it & decided to just do a dinner shower at a fancy restaurant & do a few decorations.. bc I honestly don’t think we will get the amount of gifts as much as we had to pay to have the shower.. so what do you guys think about doing a dinner shower? It’ll be a whole lot cheaper & way less stressful.. 🤷🏾♀️

What about a meet and greet after the baby is born? You wouldn’t need to decorate or make food because they would be there to see the baby. If you’re planning on paying for everyone’s food at a fancy restaurant I think that would be more expensive than a baby shower, if you’re planning on them paying then you probably won’t get many gifts since they’d have to pay for food and a gift and might only be able to afford one.
Great idea! I had the same thoughts about mine so I decided to have it at my house . Way cheaper and if you weigh our cost of shower to gifts if it’s the same thing you didn’t really gain anything . I think you’re making the right decision

Yeah don't spend a ton of money on it! Some of the best showers I've been to have just been at someone's house, everyone chatting, talking about baby, eating some snacks and opening gifts! Doesn't have to he a huge thing!
