We found out that our little princess has a two vessel cord. Two vessel cord research ended up being terrifying. Two vessel cord diagnosis means I'll be labeled high risk. I'm not going to go into everything a two vessel could mean... But if any of you mommas are going through this or have gone through it and have positive outcomes and stories... They'd be super helpful.. :(
@mother.of.2 You're advice and insight is very helpful. I keep telling myself that a mama always knows and I haven't had anything gut feelings of anything bad. Literally only worried BC of the doctors themselves aren't that great at explaining any fully or simply. I started to Google and found out quote quickly that it wasnt for the best. I've since felt a little bit better thanks to Mom Life and blogs from people who have experienced it. Thank you for reaching out, I will certainly add yo to my follow list.
@jennatess thank you for your positive outcome story. So far there hasn't been any other medical issues and healthy weight and heart beat. But they are sending us to a different hospital for a more extensive ultrasound on the 21st. Feels like so far away to wait on what the case is going to be though.
My son that I recently had had a two vessel cord and he's doing great although I had him early so he had to be in NICU but other than that he's happy and healthy if you have any questions just let me know and I'll be more than happy to answer them for you just don't Google because that's what I did and I was crying for over a week and it does no justice for you just remember not to stress so much and just try not to think about it I know it's hard but that's honestly the best thing in this situation
My best friend has this with her son! (I asked her what was different between that pregnancy/ birth compared to her first, medically normal pregnancy.) She said she was monitored with weekly ultrasounds and stress-tests from 34 weeks until she delivered vaginally at 40 weeks 3 days. He was 8 lbs 4oz. She said they told her there would only be reason to worry if there was other medical issues as well.
@theycallmemommy and @fishinamanda thanks for your prayers. They are appreciated! 💕
@mrschanandlerbong95 That's helpful, success stories are needed. Thank you
I haven’t been through it but sending lots of prayers for your little one! 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
My nephew had a two vessel cord. He was a little on the small side. 7lbs at 41 weeks, but other wise completely healthy. He just turned 5.
Ok, im just going to put this out there. Don't act like you have never went through your man's phone, wallet or pockets. It may not be because you are suspicious, it could just be "oh, whats this?" It doesnt mean you don't trust him, you could just be curious.

Question ladies...
(If you only have a negative opinion keep it to yourself)
Would you be able to accept a proposal if your man was going through a divorce?
@nynjaletteluv2010 yeah they do a series of questions as far as like family history if you have any Down syndrome or any liver or kidney problems that run in your family and after they ruled out pretty much all that they simply just said that he can be just really small and my first son was 5 lb 15 oz and my mom and my sisters all had small babies as well so they pretty much just started checking and measuring baby every week as soon as I hit the third trimester just to make sure they don't get too big but on the plus side you'll have a s*** ton of sonograms and you can ask for 3D sonogram every time you go from The Specialist
