So I fed the neighbors cat and gave it water because it was panting and I’ve never seen a cat do that so I felt bad...…

@its.a.bird, right I didn’t think they was supposed to do that! Poor guy he’s a long hair cat too so I know he’s burning up in this heat 😕

@fakoffyeh, I felt so bad for him! He even tried coming in the house and I felt so bad pushing him away 😕

That’s so sad I don’t understand why people get pets just to ignore and neglect them and abuse them 😕

@spookylyn, so many people have said something to them but they just keep putting him back out.. poor guy is out in all types of weather

@fakoffyeh, right it broke my heart to turn him away but I can’t just take him in 😫 people have said something to the owners and they take him in for a few days then he’s right back out, I’ve seen him in the rain and snow and now this heat it’s terrible! If it continues I’m really thinking of contacting animal control..

Poor kitty! You're amazing for looking out for him! I feed and water strays all the time at my house. People are always dropping pets off where I live because it's in the middle of no where. 😕

@scream.queen, I’ll probably continue to feed and water him for now, if they don’t start taking care of him I’m going to call animal control cause the poor guy doesn’t need to be in this heat 😕

@its.a.bird, so many people have talked to them, so I don’t think they’re even willing to try anything unfortunately! Is the humane society the same as animal control? I just feel bad that he’s alway out in this heat and stuff..

@its.a.bird, I think the one here is a no kill I’ll look more into it but for now I’ll just continue giving the cat food and water!

@breloya, it is sad! I’m going to continue putting food and water for him.. a lot of the neighbors have said something to the people but they’ll only take him in for a couple days and he’s right back out the door 😕
