Olivia is back to get old tricks! she born at 5lb 13oz dropped to 4lb 14oz at her lowest, regained 150oz and continued to gain good amounts getting to 6lb 6oz. However 2 weeks later she was 6lb 8oz meaning she gained 2 oz in that time. We are back monitoring her weight. We are away on holiday atm & have to see a HV while we are here to keep a check on her weight. Personally I don't see what they are so worried about.. She's gaining weight and as far as I'm concerned that's enough!

@mariapb they really do. My eldest is 9, she out grows things faster then any of my others. Yeah I think Olivia is just a small girl. They thought she was small when she was inside so I think she's just carrying it on x

@carlybeanw, ah I breastfeed aswell, it takes a while to get things established, and some babies are just smaller. HVs can be a pain in the backside, babies are different, not everyone fits in to their wee checklists! Omg 13 months in and growing out of clothes still kills me, they grow so quickly! 😫
@mariapb I'm breast feeding & she's an amazing feeder. The doctor wasn't worried at all, But The HV was! Shes 7 weeks old & is still teeny tiny. I'm not worried though. What I am sad about I her starting to outgrow clothes x
My little boy was similar except he was born at 8lb3oz He gained really slowly for the first month, I was beginning to stress about it then in a fortnight he gained 1lb10oz, then gained steadily. As long as she’s eating enough I wouldn’t worry too much. Keep an eye on things obviously but every baby is different.
