Well it’s #nationalbreastfeedingweek and i just want to say that breastfeeding is a challenge. It’s a beautiful and most amazing thing ever. I gave birth to my first baby a little over a week ago. I was extremely blessed that i was able to produce milk and give my baby the good benefits he needs. Last night took a huge toll on me. Sore nipples, bleeding and cracking... i was a die heart breast feeding only type of mom. Last night i decided to switch to formula. I balled my eyes out thinking i was a bad mom because i introduced him to breast milk and now I’m introducing him to something new. I’m going to continue to give him the breast milk once my boobs ease up. The point of this post (my side of breast feeding) is to show women that we are strong and we go through so much for our little ones. Things might get frustrating and overwhelming but we are miracles. 💙
so my husband wants to feed are baby but the thing is that I will be breastfeeding so idk how it would work. he was thinking that when he wants to feed him he would give him formula but I just want my baby to have breast milk. so then he said why don't you pump your milk out and I'll feed it to him and i thought that would be the best thing but then I'm scared that my baby will get use to the bottle. I need help idk what to do because my husband really wants to feed him :/ and we need to come up...
When can I start giving my son regular milk? He turns 10 months in 2 days. I bought unsweetened almond milk yesterday so he can try. Would that be okay? I’m lowkey tired of him on formula but I mean he’s still a baby lol.
Quick question to breast feeding mum i would like to breast feed my baby when she comes as I’ve never really breast fed my other 2, is it uncomfortable also how is pumping out milk????? For bottle feeds is the pump uncomfortable... I would normally just breast feed and not pump when home but I do drive so when I’m out and can’t stop I’ll have to use a bottle...I remember trying to breast feed my youngest and I keeped getting milk ducts why was that??? I think that’s why I gave up as I was scared...
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
okay, so my little guy is breast fed, but we try to give him a bottle of breast milk atleast once every three days. his doctor said 2 1/2 ounces for him is good, but i knew that was too little... i’ve been giving him about 5 1/2 ounces & he wants to eat again 30 minutes later. what gives??
Stay strong mama. Don’t ever feel like you’re a bad mom for feeding your child formula to let your breast heal a little. You’re still feeding your baby what you can. You’re still a super hero in their eyes ❤️
