* Not here to bash on any mothers who do not breastfeed their baby(ies). #FedIsBest. I’m just here to share a simple candid moment, as I’m learning to be more open about breastfeeding ☺️
Breastfeeding does not work out for every mother due to medical reasons or personal reasons... I was scared that breastfeeding wouldn’t work out for my daughter or myself. The first month within having my daughter, I formula fed her at certain times when I was struggling with the discomfort of sore and chapped nipples, latching issues, the random cluster feeds as I ran on little to no hours of sleep, and I wasn’t producing enough milk... I picked up on ways to treat the discomfort and ways to boost my production, which lead me to a successful breakthrough and a healthy baby. I know how hard it can be (outside of any medical reason[s]) and I can gracefully say that I pushed through the difficulties in the beginning. The bond is unfathomable, the health benefits are incredible for both my daughter and I, and I am beyond thankful and blessed to have the opportunity to breastfeed as it works out in my favor! 💓 Especially with this baby being my first.
I breastfed my son for almost 2 months but then my body stopped producing milk, the doctors couldn’t figure out why my body done this but it hurt my feelings big time when it happen I so badly wanted to breastfeed my son and it hurt know my body physically was not able to
My baby is 9 months and still going strong.
I agree. Breastfeeding is so amazing. I love the bond I have with my baby girl.
@priscilla.nicole.tansy, It really wasn’t bad. He only bit me a few times so it wasn’t really an issue. He would just want to nurse more when teeth were coming in to give him some comfort.
@ek620, it really is! I plan to breastfeed for a year at the least. How did you manage the teething?
Breastfeeding is the most beautiful thing in the world. I breastfed my son for 14 months & I was thinking today how much I missed it.
@amberrosiee, oh my goodness, that sounds rough! I would’ve been frustrated, I bet you were. How awesome that things worked out for you in the end though, kudos to you for not giving up!
My first would not latch and having a bottle didn't help so I exclusively pumped for almost 2 months. Now my second latched almost right away and have ebf since and even though the let down is hard to get through I'm loving every minute of it.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
@amberjacq, girl I may not understand what you went through and I can only imagine how difficult it’s been for you to accept, but I feel for you and your situation! I’m sure you and your son still have an amazing bond and that he loves you just as much as he would’ve if breastfeeding did work out for you... and if not, more. ❤️
