I’m looking to get my nurses a little gift for when i give birth. How many gifts would you say to buy? How many nurses do you usually have while being in the hospital giving birth.
If you do lotions I'd go with Avon Silicone glove it's highly recommend for people in the medical field
Do some hand lotion. Their hands get so dry from washing all day
I had my doctor and two nurses during delivery. I had a few more during my hospital stay but I can’t remember how many
Depending how many days you stay there. We stayed 2 nights and three days... our nurses worked a 12 hours shift so we had about.... 5 to 6 nurses switching in and out during the entire stay. Let me tell you girl, all of them were super duper nice. I loved everyone of them. They were incredible at taking care of us.
Your shift nurses work 12 hour days typically and you will most likely have at least 4. I only recently heard about giving gift baskets and I'm planning to get one big basket and fill it with things like Starbucks drinks, energy/protein bars, snacks ect. I've seen people do cute little individual baskets also.
I don't know exactly how many nurses but I had a nurse who was SUCH a doll during my first delivery! I could never stop thinking of how caring and nice she was after going home so I eventually went back to the hospital and gave her a gift card to bed bath and beyond!
I think most people usually give gift basket. Like full of candy and snacks for them to set at their station. It’s hard to say how many nurses will actually be there. Depends on the time of day and what day you deliver.
How many ultrasounds have you all had before giving birth..?!
Gifts for nurses?
Anyone planning to bring gifts for your nurses during/after delivery? If so, what are you giving them?
Giving birth
For those that went/chose to give birth without an epi, how did you do it?
how many children
Do you have?
How many of you ladies poop while giving birth ?
What ecahanes and mom13 said above, yes and yes. My mother is an ICU nurse and always appreciates a good lotion to soothe her hands after constant washing! Their hands get so dried out. Other than that, snacks and drinks are always appreciated by them!!
