When did you ladies start weaning onto cows milk ? And how did you do it ?

I started giving it to Samuel around 8 months in the day but still giving him formula at night then by 10 months he was on cows milk completely just started turning his baby milk away, he drinks milk much better now he's on cows milk rather than formula x

I literally did a straight swap.... I warm it in a pan to the same as he had it with formula... but he prefers cows milk anyway.

I buy that first milk because it's full of extra vitamins and I think its creamier xx

Both of mine from about 10months. Just a little in a beaker here & there to get them used to the taste. They'd had it in their breakfast from 6months as well.

@sara-lou86 okay great so I can just leave his bottles as they are for now and just offer him a little bit of milk till he gets used to it be for I start swapping his bottles ? X

That's up to you I guess. They advice formula until 1yr then cows milk as formula has more nutrients in it than cows milk. So I didn't swap entirely until after 1yr. By then they'd dropped bottles for the most part anyway lol

I tried giving my daughter a bottle but she wouldn’t take it. So I had to mix it with formula at first. So day 1 I did 1oz of cow milk then day 2, 2oz and so on, until it was a bottle of cow milk xx

Litetally straight swap about a year and 2 months would of been sooner but I was waiting untill he had an allergy test c
