When is the best time to do a baby shower?!! It’s been 6 years so I can’t remember!!!!

I’m having mine when I’m 30 weeks !

Ill be 34 weeks at my baby shower. It’s later than I wanted but it’s the only day my mother in law and sister in law could make it. I wanted it in early September around 30 weeks so the weather would still be nice but it is what it is.

Definitely don't do it too late! I was 38 weeks when I had mine and man I was huge, hot & uncomfortable 😩

@heilwife317, I’m ready to see what he weighs again! At my anatomy scan he was already 14 ounces!

@heather3427 yeah I was really fine until this week. Baby boy is only in my upper right. Has managed my muscle to be strained and pulled, causing my right side to really hurt all the time now. I love him so much and can't wait for him to drop lol. 6lbs9oz in my right ribs isn't fun. Lol

@penelope127, I am already uncomfortable lol baby boy likes the rib cage. But I’d rather do it around 33 because I know the last few weeks are hard and rough! And I don’t wanna be uncomfortable and unhappy at my baby shower!

Mine is around 33-34 weeks, when I have a nice size bump, but not too uncomfortable. Then we have time to put stuff together and purchase the last minute stuff.

We had ours at 31 weeks and 32 weeks. Some will wait as late as 36 weeks, it's your call. I liked having time to buy what I still needed and organize things before I entered this pain state at 36 weeks now.

@itslinny, absolutely! We have two children we care for and they aren’t biologically ours but in my eyes they are ours! We have custody of them and we care for them daily so they are ours to me!

@heather3427, yeah I don't think it's too early! It's the perfect time I think I'd rather do an early shower and than a late one anyways

@itslinny, we were gonna plan for September as well! I just didn’t want it to be too early! Considering this is baby number 6 for us we need the extra time to be able to go through and sort everything and get it all prepared for his arrival!

I'm due nov 2nd and I'm having mine sep 22 because I wanted nice weather for it, not colder weather like it would be in October
